6:18p - graduate studies are SHIT
have been trying to finish my readings for the synthesis paper i need to write for my Media 220 (media literacy) class. good god, i can't do this!
it's not to say that it's difficult. i suppose i'm just out of practice. it's a little overwhelming to be reading theory again, especially since i hated literary theory so much as an undergrad. it's refreshing, though, to read theory now and see it directly applied to phenomenon that even i, a mere 21 year old southeast asian girl living and studying in the twenty-first century, can observe.
i wonder if it's my fault: my brother saw an ad for this billiards tournament featuring Efren "Bata" Reyes and Django Bustamante. he quipped with glee and a wicked grin, "men with sticks. ahehe."
what have i done?
