9:47a - stranger than fiction
this is the stuff of Twilight Zone and sci-fi movies. just don't leave it in the hands of James Cameron or George Lucas. i'm sorry, i love Star Wars, but George Lucas is likely to ruin this by actually inserting aliens from Mars in the plot and teaching the hero how to add a warp drive to his car.
come to think of it, Stanley Kubrick would have loved this material -- look at Apocalypse Now (which i didn't see, by the way, not in full).
