12:38p - Reminiscences
it was my parents' wedding anniversary last Tuesday. i don't remember what year they got married. i think it was around 1983 or 1984. they flew to Hong Kong and got married there, because here, my dad was still married to Cecilia. Mom wore a red silk suit, with a chinese collar, short sleeves, and a pencil cut skirt. i think she had it made for the occasion. with some of the excess material, Mom later made a dress for my Barbie doll, a beautiful, strapless affair, empire cut, with a billowy skirt. it was one of my favorite dresses for Barbie. when they came home, they brought me a pajama set with pictures of Chinese girls embroidered o the shirt,
i didn't greet my mom. i didn't know if she wanted to be greeted. but i remembered.

sometime ago, it was Simon and Garfunkel that i would listen to when i wanted to remember my dad. now i have Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
